not much good can be said about a pandemic, but it brought us together…

Amelia got tired of dating dudes with podcasts so she cast her dating pole into the Austin scene and she caught a keeper

(ok we need a side of corn chips to go with all this cheese)

After just a few virtual dinner dates & movie nights, they decided they should meet in person at the Grand Canyon..

But, meeting someone for the first time at the Grand Canyon sounded like a bad idea to amelia’s friends.

so two weeks later, cory flew to California to meet her (and cross another national park visit off his list)

and they spent their first date hiking at Joshua tree national park.

(they eventually made it to the Grand Canyon)

after continuing to date across the national park system, surviving texas’ 2021 “snowvid” and getting tired of saying goodbye, Amelia & cory decided to pack up their things & build a home together in Austin… not actually build a home but you know, metaphorically
